City TV health correspondent Cindy Leong visited our clinic to do a segment for the CityPulse news on the Accelerated Orthokeratology (AOK) treatment we offer here in at Mount Pleasant Optometry Centre.

Dr. Mowbray and a few AOK patients, were interviewed and the segment was aired several times during both the 6pm and 11pm news, as well as on the weekend edition.

It was a pleasure to have Cindy and Richard in from City TV Vancouver. They spent 2 hours in the office filming AOK night trials, AOK progress checks, and talking to some of our AOK patients. The news coverage certainly generated a very positive response - our phone has been ringing with people interested in the procedure. Three messages were made clearly in the news spot: AOK is comfortable, it works well, and it is great alternative to laser refractive surgery for people with myopia under -4.50 Dioptres.
