YOUNG ADULTS

Vision changes can occur rapidly during the childhood years. These changes will occur well into adolescence and as long as the child continues to grow.

For the most part, the vision and eye health needs of young adults are the same as school-age children. Everyone wants great vision, after all.

Young adults, however, tend to show more concern over appearance issues. It’s important to their self-esteem that they find corrective options that suit their individual lifestyles and tastes. Sports activities require special attention, as 70 per cent of sports-related eye injuries occur among young adults.

Your B.C. Optometrist understands the importance of comfort, safety and confidence for young adults and their vision needs.
